At Big White Ski Club, our Blazers NGSL program is designed for kids ages 6–9 and focuses on developing strong foundational skills across all terrain and conditions. Athletes learn core techniques, mountain safety, and teamwork—all while building confidence and a love for the sport. As part of the Nancy Greene Ski League and Alpine Canada’s Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model, our Blazers program provides a strong foundation for both competitive and lifelong skiing.
Young skiers also have the opportunity to participate in fun, low-pressure competitions at the club and zone level. These events emphasize personal improvement, team spirit, and sportsmanship over podium results—encouraging every child to enjoy the challenge, celebrate effort, and support their teammates.
At its heart, the Nancy Greene program is all about helping kids fall in love with skiing—for life.
Learn more about the Blazers program HERE.
All participants in the Blazers Program and Blazers Camps must be able to use chairlifts and be able to ski BLUE RUNS. Children must be able to stop, turn, put on own equipment and get up from a fall unassisted. The ski club is not a learn to ski program.
For those newer to skiing, we recommend lessons through Big White’s Ski School.
