All BWSC Racers are ambassadors for the Big White Ski Club, proudly representing our home mountain Big White Ski Resort.
This policy is to ensure all racers wearing Team Jackets conduct themselves in the highest standard of behaviour while training, attending races, award ceremonies or any other events whether at Big White Ski Resort or elsewhere.
Team Jacket policy is also to promote team spirit. The Team Jacket should be worn for ALL award ceremonies, whether being recognized personally or supporting and cheering on your teammates.
Team Jackets are available for purchase and use for all active U10, U12, U14 and U16 racers. Jackets can be purchased new or used.
NEW Team Jackets are available for purchase every year through the club only. All racers will be notified via email when the “try and buy” night has been determined (usually in the early spring). The Jacket Coordinator will send an email with details closer to the date as information is available. Team Jackets have to be ordered several months in advance because they are made custom for our club and then logo’d with our current sponsors.
USED Team Jackets - used Team Jackets are available for purchase through the club’s ‘Used Team Jacket’ group on SportsEngine ONLY. Individuals wishing to buy or sell a used Team Jacket should post your information on the Used Team Jacket CHAT (not messages) and include:

Suggested pricing for used jackets sell for $50 - $150 depending on condition. The selling price is determined by the seller.
REMEMBER Team Jackets are NOT to be sold privately to non-club members, OR listed on Facebook or any other selling platforms. Team Jackets are available to be worn by U10 (or older) age ACTIVE team members ONLY - Reason? this is the first age group who are required to attend the Code of Conduct team meeting and sign the Athlete and Parent Code of Conduct Contract.
Patches On Team Jackets must be visible and properly adhered to the jackets. Sponsors (gold and higher) have donated to our club and in exchange we display their logos in appreciation. We all owe it to these sponsors to keep their logos looking good! If your jacket is in need of patch repair or is missing a patch, please take it into Blair’s Sportswear on Dayton Ave (just past ICBC) and request a repair or replacement patch. Repair or replacement patch costs will be covered by the club if required.
Any OLD jackets that are no longer worthy of selling (you know what we mean!), please bring these jackets to the club cabin and drop off in the coaches room downstairs. These jackets will be collected, un-logo'd and sent to an organization in South America for communities who will distribute through their youth programs to under privileged children. Please do not donate Team Jackets locally - Thank you!
