BWSC's aim is for children to participate in the sport of skiing throughout our entire program (U6-U16) and to build skiers for life! BWSC knows that athletes come from all ethnic backgrounds and/or levels of income and we have created this bursary program with the goal to instill a passion for the sport of skiing. Big White Ski Club encourages young athletes to participate and enjoy the sport as they mature, working towards programs for potential provincial, national or even world-level competition in Alpine Skiing or Ski Cross. Through these programs, it can also open doors in these athlete's futures to become a coach/instructor at almost any ski resort in the world and potentially help fund the next National or Olympic level ski racer!
Congratulations to the athletes selected for 2020

Ambassadors of the BIG WHITE SKI CLUB!
For the applicants who were not selected, please apply again next year as the decision was tight in all categories! We are so pleased with the level of enthusiasm from each of you!
The Big White Bursary Program is dependent on donations from funds contributed by Big White Ski Resort and proceeds from events such as the Telus Kelowna Cup Race and therefore will be evaluated annually based on each season's contributions. Please join us at our club's AGM in June for a 2021 Bursary update.
