2018 SWAP SUCCESS!

This year's Ski Board & Sport Swap was one of our most successful swaps in many years. The sales were up 30% over last year and reflected a significant increase in attendance.

Based on the equipment that was consigned, there appears to be less snow boards and more skis.  Shaped skis and advances in ski technology have been important factors in introducing more people to downhill skiing.

Next year, the BW Ski Club plans to add additional checkout stations to help decrease the long lineups at the cash registers.

From a fund raising perspective, the club is very happy with the support of the Okanagan community for our biggest fundraiser of the year.  The 2018 BW Ski Swap involved over 200 volunteers and we are fortunate to have help from many key areas (marketing, IT, administration). I’d also like to thank our sponsors and the New Life Church for allowing the club to utilize their facility every year.

An extra thank you to our club's alumni Kelsey Serwa, Ned Ireland and also Loose Moose (from Big White Ski Resort) for your attendance at the event!
