1. How do I sell my gear at the SWAP?
In 2015 we introduced an online consignment system. Consignors can start by creating an account and add items as you come across them in your home - this will help speed up your drop-off time.
Don't want to consign ahead of time - don't worry! We can help you out when you bring your items Friday.

2. What type of equipment can I bring?
We accept all sporting equipment that is in good condition.
We cannot accept used helmets. We DO NOT accept equipment that has been poorly maintained or is a potential safety hazard. Older model straight (alpine) skis are not accepted for sale but may be donated.
Our volunteers have the right to refuse any equipment.
3. How do I volunteer for the Swap?
As a member, family or friend of BWSC, when you volunteer for a shift at our upcoming Swap, you are automatically invited to our ‘Buy Night’ held on the Friday from 8-10 pm, giving you first access to amazing equipment and deals!
All U12/14/16 and Ski X parent(s) are needed and required to work at this event. As parents we demonstrate valuable volunteer leadership to our kids, by sharing your time for our ski community and it’s a fun way to kick off the season, all for a good cause.

4. What does it cost to consign my equipment?
5. What kind of payment do you accept?
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, INTERAC and CASH.
6. How do I know if my equipment has sold?
Pay-out & Pick-up runs from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday. Check back at 6:00 with your consignment tag “customer copy” to see if your equipment has sold. If your item has sold, we will pay-out the value of the equipment less the 20% commission. If your equipment has not sold, our staff will take your consignment tag and return your items to you.
7. I missed the pay out time on Saturday and didn’t get back to check for my equipment. What do I do?
Equipment that is left behind on Saturday becomes the property of the Big White Ski Club.
REMEMBER THE PAY-OUT TIME IS 6:00-8:00PM ON SATURDAY, ONLY!
If you cannot attend the Pay-out & Pick-up time, have someone do it for you, but they must have your consignment tag “customer copy”.
If all of your equipment sold, you will be instructed to mail your “customer copy” of the consignment tags in a self-addressed envelope (within 30 days) to:
Unit 144, 9-3151 Lakeshore Road, Kelowna, BC V1W 3S9
Unclaimed equipment will be held for 48 hours only!! Unclaimed cheques will be held for 30 days!
There is a $10 service charge for cheques not claimed on the Saturday night of the swap.

please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
8. What else should I know?
To help maintain security, we DO NOT allow any backpacks, large purses or bulky jackets/ski clothing to be worn into the SWAP. Please leave these items at home! If you insist on bringing these items, you will be asked to leave them at the door. Items left at the door are the sole responsibility of the owner. Our security staff reserves the right to check all items that are leaving the building. You can fully expect security to be doing their jobs, please respect them!
We have numerous security people on site that work hard to ensure that equipment doesn’t go missing, however the Big White Ski Club cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen equipment.
